Chelan County is on the eastern edge of the Cascade Mountains and is situated along the Columbia River. Chelan County has a very diverse geographic area that includes mountains and lakes and flat areas next to the Columbia River. The varied terrain supports the two major industries in the area, tourism and agriculture.
